Small space heater

Do anyone of you have a good recommendation for a small electric space heater that you’ve used.

I have two Hunter brand units that are both 1500 watts. Both rotate (a must) and have thermostats.

The small one works fine, but it needs to run much longer to heat up my coach. It also is noisier.

The tall one heats up the coach much faster, is quieter and doesn't cycle on and off as often. I can keep my entire coach warn with just the one heater placed mid cabin.

Almost all new 1500 watt heaters are good. It must have a tip over switch, at least 2 heat levels, 3 preferably, a built in thermostat and overheat limit.
Always keep all burnable objects away. Check for hot wires and outlets often.
Walmart has many types about $20.

We use a ceramic heater we bought at Target for $60.
There are many to choose from.

We use a couple 20 buck CZ441 Redstone ceramic heaters from Tractor Supply. Dual wattage, 800/1500. They also have a fan position and measures approx. 6x6x8 inches. They do a decent job - actually better then the built in electric fireplace. The best would be an oil filled heater but they tend to be pretty big, heavy, slow to heat initially plus have the potential if they fail, to be very messy.

I’m looking for a small quartz heater with squirrel cage blower as they seem to be quieter than my ceramic, four blade fan heater. Any ideas?

We have used many space heaters and that has been our sole heat source for the last 5 years by choice. The Vornado was the quietest one we have tried so far.

Small is IMHO critical - as the 1500 watts of heat is the same in every 1500 watt heater small or large and the Coach is Smaller than the house. - so we prefer Small!

Next thing to try to get is dual wattage - 750 and 1500.

Fan is necessary - needs to be quiet.

Stable is critical - tip over is code, but .....

Last note here - these need to be hooked up to what I call Hair Dryer Circuits in the RV. They will draw a lot of Watts - when we had our coach built we had separate circuits put in each of the four main areas in the Coach - Bedroom - Bathroom - Kitchen - Living. That way when staying in a FHU site in the Winter with Free Electric we can stay comfortable down to say 10 degrees without needing the on-board Heat. - This IMHO is a big deal if you winter Camp.

Important point. They’re all 100% efficient, or 100% inefficient, depending on how you look at it. Even the fan motor puts out heat, and the moving air eventually stops moving through friction, which makes heat. So pick what works best for the space.

Radiant for aiming a beam of heat at yourself. Fan-forced hot air for small form factor units, with ceramics tending to be smaller than old-school coils. Oil-filled for quiet warm air. But they’ll all put the same amount of heat into the space, assuming same wattage.

Except for radiant heaters if you aim them toward a window - a lot of that infrared energy will just go through the window.

Another vote for the Vornado. I have tried at least a half dozen before and the Vornado is quiet but still distributes heat the best of all models tried.
