NuWa added something like that to some of their Champagne models before they stopped production. Looked very nice. That is on our list of mods to do.

Thanks !
We found these in stock at Lowe's. Smart Tiles are only available online @ Home Depot. We really wanted to see and touch the selections prior to purchasing.
We thought this would coordinate with the stainless microwave and residential refrigerator. These tiles are 12" x 12". Some of the other Smart Tiles are 10 x 10 or so.

Smart Tiles
I used smart tiles to do the kitchen backsplash in our 1999 Born Free Class C. They were easy to cut and install and really look great. I have more ordered to do the same in our Lance pick-up camper. I recall reading on the smart tile web page, however, that they are not recommended for shower if anyone has that in mind.

My closest Home Depot has the Smart Tiles in stock, and so do several other HD stores in my area.
You might have to ask... at my store they are not in the back with all the glass/ceramic tiles. They are at the front by the carpets in a fairly small display rack. They had both the single ones and the ?10? packs.
Easy way to tell... go to the HD website and find what you like, then check the 'in-stock' by using your zip code for stores in your area.

Yeah, ours too. Who would have thought they'd NOT be with the rest of the wall tiles.

Here are some pics of my Sea Breeze that I did. The smart tiles worked out great and as long as you prep the area the stick very well.

Guess it varies at the different HD locations. We asked the supervisor in tile & carpet department at our local HD and were told they did not stock them "in store." They said that they were only available online at HomeDepot.com.
Lowe's had a variety of the Smart Tiles in store. They were displayed on an end cap with a flat screen TV showing an installation video. As a side note-- they claim removal of the Smart Tiles can be done using a hair dryer.

2LT,
Very nice! How difficult was it to get the old tile off the back wall?

That would be my only concern about installing around the stove area; whether the heat would eventually loosen the glue.

Got 'er done! We installed the Smart Tiles in both baths yesterday afternoon. It's really easy to install, just requires some careful cutting. It was a lot easier after I figured out that we should mark and cut on the back side instead of the front!
My photos aren't working! I'll post them later!
