Smoke Alarm Batteries

Just finished replacing all the smoke alarm batteries in the house and camper(do it in conjunction of daylight savings) and thought it would be good to remind folks not to forget the camper alarms. Happy Trails!!

Excellent point. I put new batteries in first trip out each year. We don't camp year round so this works well for us.

Not to worry Don. It's just important to get the message out. As another note; we have hard wired alarms in the house, but they too require backup batteries in the event of a power failure.

The test button on the alarms only test the batteries. You might also blow a little smoke on them to see if the sensor actually works.
