Snow birds / Sun birds

So I know you northerners head south for the winter.

I already live in northern Florida and have for most of my 64 years and am getting tired of the hot weather during summers, thinking I want to be a sun bird and get outta this heat.

Are there any others out there that live in the south and head north during hot months and where do you go?

For 2 years now we winter in Carrabelle, Florida (Panhandle beach house) and spend our summers in our RV in western Washington State. Left Washington last Sunday and currently in Iowa on the way to Florida.

We've been Florida residents since 1977, and have been Sunbirds since about 1996 when we sold our boat and got back into RVing.

Our current summer home is in western NC (Black Mountain), but we have summered in Maine, Washington state, NY, Alaska and elsewhere. Or just traveled all summer.
