Sofa/bed and dinette/bed sleeping surface

The sofa and dinette laid out for sleeping is a bumpy surface - what do you use to smooth it out?

An inch or two memory foam topper helps a lot. The jack knife sofa beds are the worst to make comfortable due to the framing poking through.

I have seen tent campers with what looks like a high density foam mattress. It also inflates with air and is only about one inch in height. I don't know who makes it, but they swear by them.

Therm-a-Rest Mattresses - providing lasting comfort for over 35 years.

Go for the camp rest types. Heavier bigger and more comfortable. Do not over inflate.
