Some helpful hints from newbies

We are now 2 weeks into our winter trip of 10 weeks. thought I would share some hints and observations. We are finding a lot of uses for command hook and loop (Velcro) strips. I have attached my canisters to the wall with them. We bought small flash lights and attached a flashlight near the light switches in the front, hall and bedroom so we can determine which is a light and which is a slide in the dark.

I was extremely skeptical about the Splendide washer after having less than stellar experience with previous model. This one is vented and I love it. so nice to throw a load in at bed time and find dry items in the morning. Key to using is very small loads of like items. I wash/dry 2 towels, 2 wash cloths, 2 hand towels with no problem in about 1.75 hours. Shirts, I dry for a short time and then hang up. I also use Downey wrinkle release spray on dry items and smooth out. Works great.

We came to Florida with no reservations. we have had very little issues finding campgrounds, Currently in St. Augustine, headed next to Orange city and then inland where we will stay for 1 month. Finding reservations was pleasantly easy.

lastly, Casino camping has been great. No problem to dry camp overnight and we can walk to a good meal and entertainment.

This is a great lifestyle. I can see us doing a lot more extended travel In the future.

we are staying at St. John RV park. It's quiet, cheap and convenient. Good Wifi, FHU, cable. PPA $25 night. Not the greatest park, but works well for a place to stay to see St. Augustine which is amazing.
