Someone with S&B in South Dakota

I have an odd request. I'm looking for someone who has a S&B in South Dakota and can send me an electronic copy of their electric bill. All of the account numbers, meter numbers, and your address will be changed before it leaves my inbox, so don't worry about that. Can anyone help me out?

Sounds like they could be at risk of being a party to fraud. I work in a RV part during the summer and had a workamper from another campground out of state ask for basically the same thing. An electronic copy of an over night stay. I declined. As much of a pain as it is to be required to be in SD once in 5-10 years, it is the law.

A utility bill is used to establish residency in a state. Its an odd request from a stranger. And very unwise on a public forum.

Anyone with a S&B who is considering doing this is a partner in fraud. The OP wants to use your bill as proof he's been in the state for residency issues. He should go to South Dakota like everyone honest does to establish residency.

Conspiracy to commit fraud will get you free housing and 3 meals a day. Be very careful if you are considering helping.

It sounds to me as if the OP is trying to claim he's an actual resident of SD rather than using the affidavit for "people who travel". He would like to claim that he lives as someone else's address rather than using a mail service like the rest of us SD full-timers do. He's not trying to evade the "return to SD to renew your license rule", he's trying to subvert the entire process that permits full-timers to register as SD residents.

South Dakota has been an easy to deal with "home state" for us for nearly 9 years. I have no issues with respect to following the rules to establish and maintain residency. Don't let people screw things up for everyone else by trying to evade some relatively easy to follow rules. JMO

What will the electric bill be used for?
