We've been experiencing a very bad drought here in middle Tennessee as well as the rest of the south but lately we've had some good rainfall. I've been sitting here living in the woods and watching the rainfall and have been thinking of all those folks in southern California. I hope and pray for them and wish that those nasty Santa Ana winds die down so the firefighter can win their fight over the fires. Its terrible seeing those houses and trees burn to the ground and hope that our fellow RV'ers are able to get their rigs out of harms way.

sitting hre in redlands, ca watching the mountain town burn to the ground is very sad.
what is even worse is knowing that one of my fellow californians set the fires.

Actually, it's been a mix. Be a while before the investigators have them all sorted out, but so far 1 is attributed to downed power lines, 1 to a car fire that got away, and 1 suspected arson.

The fire by Magic Mountain was started by sparks from a welder working a the field.

Very expensive welding job.
