Stabilization for the RV

Hello everyone, David and Sarah here,,, we are new to the Rv'ing world.. We have a 2003 National Dolphin on a WorkHorse chassis . My question concerns stability during the drive, I am used to driving most everything except an RV, and it really is different. It did not take long to get a feel for the Dolphin, but I was wondering if anybody out there has advice or suggestions for the stability devices offered such as Blue Ox. Actually it is the only one that I have read anything about.
What are your thoughts?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place!!!!

If it feels like the tail is wagging and your chasing it with the steering wheel then put a rear track bar on it. The track bar locks the rear differential to the frame.

If it feels like the top is rolling over side to side then a sway bar would correct that.

IMO I would install both, plus shocks. This is assuming that everything else is good, ie tires...

Road manners of our Worhorse W24 were greatly improved by a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer.

The shocks are Koni's, the tire pressure is set for our load, and the OEM roll control (rear sway bar and front torque tube) work well enough to not need mods. These are all things to look at for RV's.

If we were on the road more, we would be looking at upgrading the Safe-T-Plus to the Blue Ox TruCenter for on the road adjustment, but it's a bit pricey to just swap and the Safe-T-Plus works well.

Safe travels
