Starfire III Truck Camper

I am new at this type of thing but here goes. My husband and I ride motorcycles and are thinking of getting a truck, a truck camper and an enclosed trailer to put bikes in to pull behind. We have found a fiberglass truck camper, a Starfire III. It is a fixer-upper but in our price range. Would prefer to spend the money on a decent truck. Cannot find info about this camper. How do I find out what would be the best truck for the job, all I know is I need an eight foot box? Thanks if anyone can help.

Hello and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
With the load you are talking about, I would suggest a 1 ton truck. This way if you trade up later, you don't have to buy a bigger truck.
