You could have bought more insurance, but did not. Its not the insurance companies fault YOU did not buy higher coverage. We all buy insurance based on cost taking a chance that when an accident occurs we will have enough dollars in our pockets to cover deductables etc.

I am assuming that you are referring to the original post? State Farm runs him through 5 (FIVE) different adjusters on one claim, and you blame the customer?!?

Your policy should have an appraisal clause where if you disagree you can go into appraisal. Get written appraisals for you coach from dealer first. I that doesn't work, then tell them you are getting an independent appraiser, they will do the same, then you pick an independent third party to mediate. I don't know what state you are in but I believe most state require the appraisal clause in the policy. get you agent involve, they earn a commission on you every year.

I was just stating the facts not bad mouthing just sharing my experience with them they were giving me one hell of a run around and it sure wasn't looking good they did pay I give them that but it did take 5 weeks to even give up an amount that they would pay they don't go off nada or kbb or dealer valuations it's what they say and that's it they new by the second day of my claim that it was a total loss so in my opinion 5 weeks is to long and have to deal with 5 different adjusters was just a run around I didn't have any problems wit the first adjuster every time we would get close to an agreement the would change adjuster as far as me keeping my rv I have to recoup my loss some how.and Iowa does not salvage title campers but mine will be going to a salvage sale.

Well heck yes, every time. I witnessed a bath tub fixture blow out which if no one would have been around it would have flooded the whole house in a few hours. Good Question...

So if the claim is clean, I have never had a problem with quick response and no hassle payment.

We have loved State Farm for 20 years. They have payed out thousands a $$$ on deer collision damage, roof damage, motorhome damage, and never once had a problem.. If some one has a problem with SF U need to change agents. I had to trade from an agent in Afton Wy to one in Casper to get exceptional service. You need an agent you can talk to and we have one..
