States fill in map

I'm curious as to how and where one generates the US and/or Canadian outlines (not to mention getting the appropriate states filled in.) that are in some of the posters posts!!

There are several web sites that will generate a map for you. Here is one of them: Visited States Map: States Visited Map, Where I've Been Map, Colored Map of The United States, Map of States Visited.

You can use it as an avitar but to place it in your signature requires an account upgrade.

While we are on the subject of state maps, I've seen the stick ones. Does anyone know where I can get a Cross Stitch one? I've seen them mentioned on this site but can't locate one. My wife cross stitches , and so does Rosey Greir

Another way

Another way to add it, is to use a photo editor, i cropped and pasted 2 photos together and then created an entirely new photo of the state map and our rv..... Then used that as my avatar.... Ps did it on my ipad using photo collage app.

And i did a state outline crossstitch 30 years ago, might still have it... I'll look.
