sticky windows

I have a couple of windows, sliders, that are a bear to open....tried wd40 but it didn't help much.......any ideas?

WD 40 is a water displacement...not much of a lubricate. Might try some silicone spray. Bob

Or a graphite lube, like for locks. Can be messy, though (black).
