Exclamation Stolen 5th Wheel

For those on the road or who are leaving soon we have had a Military family here in Indiana that just had their 5th Wheel stolen from the storage lot. They had bought it a year ago to help with their move here to Indiana. I would like to ask everyone just be on the lookout for the following and if you see it please call the number below:

2013 Shasta Flyte
Model 265DB Cream with Brown Stripes
Lic # 579989RT

If you see it please call 317-262-8477 (Crimestoppers)

Thanks for your help and happy travels. Keep Safe..

John

Is this the same trailer? I think it is a travel trailer not a 5th Wheel. I also posted on my facebook, I hope they find it.

Here in East Tx the "meth heads" steal rv's and hide them in the woods and cook off a few batchs then abandon. Its now a HazMat site.

It is not often we hear of RVs being stolen, BUT it happens. There are ways to make finding your RV when stolen.
1. If you leave a cell phone plugged in and on inside the vehicle, it can be tracked by LEOs.
2. Painting a large symbol, letter or numbers on the roof [like police cars] will make it identifiable from the sky. [Refelctive paint, bright color]
3. Have LowJack installed LoJack - LoJack Recovery System for Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Equipment, Cargo & Laptops.
4. Install a wireless security system that alert you on your cell phone. Wireless Security Systems for your Motorhome or RV
5. Disable the vehicle electronically or physically [remove parts] when parked.
