I put this on my FaceBook page.
Suggest you share this on all military and veteran forums, i.e. VFW, Amer Legion, DAV,

Sad commentary on society in general nowdays. Used to be you could leave your keys in the car and the front door unlocked.
Did not say if the storage area was secured or if they had a lock on the hitch. Should not matter but you have to look after your stuff.
Hope they are lucky enough to get it back without any damage.

I've Google some with no luck. If anyone knows of a fund raiser to assist, I'd appreciate if they would share the info.
This is one of those times where by a bunch of us chipping in what we can, at least they might get out from under the outstanding loan.
Suspect, have not looked, that forum rules would not allow us to do a fundraiser here... But, maybe someone will hear of a place that is taking this on to help.
Those that served and risked it all, certainly warrant a helping hand in their own rough times...
TIA for anyone that hears of a way to help them!
And best to all,
Smitty

That's unfortunate for them and just an example of how disgusting some people can be. Here is a guy serving our Country, and he gets victimized by one of our "punks", who just can't get enough of the free stuff our Country gives them and still has to steal more from a hard working family guy. We have become so free to help others that some have grown to lack any type of respect, appreciation, or responsibility and take advantage of any situation they can. I hope he gets to see whoever stole it face to face someday. Had a similar situation years ago, it was our car on vacation, but it was really hard for the kids to understand because they were raised to respect others. Hopefully they get it back without damage.

Stolen RV!
That's too bad. It would be nice if someone could crowdfund them another.
Link doesn't work in Safari on my iPad.
(I wish someone would have stolen our MoHo last year when we were having our problems with it.)

Try copying the web address and then posting or putting in your safari browser. It worked on mine and I also have posted on Facebook, hopefully we will see a positive outcome.

That's tough. That reporter leaves me wondering though. Anyone ever had an insurance policy that renewed automatically? Every one I've had required me to pay the premium before it was renewed, and if it was financed, the creditor received prompt notice if the premium was not paid and policy renewed.

I'm all for helping someone in need, but I wonder if it would not be better to wait and see if they recover the RV? The update above said they probably won't be moving for 1 1/2 years.

From the donation page:
"Michelle and Nate have agreed to donate all funds raised to Armed Forces charities and theft prevention charities if the trailer is recovered undamaged."
Win win
