I live in Albq and have been keeping an eye out for this rig since day 1. I had a pickup stolen from my driveway a couple of years ago. reported it to the police but it is just one of many stolen every day in this town which has one of the highest auto theft rates in the nation. The police dept is so understaffed here they don't even have time to get donuts let alone do any detective work. I'm pretty sure my truck is being driven by the mayor down in Juarez, Mx. Just thank god for insurance

My friend from ABQ was visiting last week. He said this made local news when it happened. Pretty big heist, even for ABQ.
Very sad.

Maybe if you had this installed it may have warned someone of the theft in process or better yet it may have driven them away never to come back again.

Rv Recovered

Hello and Thanks to all who have been keeping an eye out for my RV and Corvette,I really appreciate the RV community.
The good news after so much time,i received an email from a detective from APD saying they had located my RV and they were trying to locate the suspect. There is an ongoing investigation to try and find the Corvette so i cant go into to much detail.
The RV was stripped of Air cons,Tv,s ,generators plus all personal items that you accumulate in an rv.
There is damage ,but the rig is basicly ok and i am back living in it.
It was very dirty which has been sorted by a great cleaning crew called "The Maids"and then thru the truck wash.
The rv was still in ABQ which surprised me as like suggested i thought it had gone south.
Once again Thank You

WOW!! Congrats on the recovery.

And best luck on the 'vette.

New AirCon, TV's and such might make it better than before.

Some good news and now if you could get the rest of the good news, retrieve the 'Vett' and catch the perpetrators.

At least you got half of it back. It must have been a long, long 9 months for you. Now, if they can find the corvette! Unfortunately, it was most likely stripped down & parted out. However, there's always a glimmer of wishful thinking.

Sorry that it happened to you in the USA [or anywhere for that matter]
