Storage under seats *need help

I found additional space under the bench seat in the dinette. My question is since the carbon monoxide detector is there what is acceptable items? The black box in the picture is a speaker.

I would put anything at all in there, just be careful of the wiring. The detector works from the outside of the seat panel. Make sure whatever you stow is secure from sliding or falling and you should be ok.

My parents factory order 1958 KenCraft trailer had that storage too. Blankets. extra clothes, even food will fit.
