Stove igniter thread

A few months ago i was reading about replacing the stove top igniter with one that also lit the oven. Now that I have time to do the work I can't find the thread. I have run multiple searches and come up empty. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

The links take me to “Dear Marcus”. What is the right link? I like the idea. I think Marcus does not.

The whole idea of getting on my knees to light the stove is not popular with seventy year old knees.

Maybe convection microwave is the answer.

If I remember right the igniter is for a Char Broil Grill.

It will have 4 spark leads.

I got mine from either Home Depot or Menards.

Look in grill replacement parts.

Finally got this done. Well worth not getting on the floor to light the oven. Highly recommended if you are lighting your oven manually.

Can you put this on an oven that did not originally come with a igniter on either the top or the bottom? I would really like to make mine self-igniting if it all possible. On the front of the oven it says Magic Chef but I'm not for sure what model it is.

When I do mine I will post pictures of step by step on the oven.
