Strange VW Class C

I just spent the morning talking with the creator of this VW Class c.
This thing is for real, he bought parts of it from a junk dealer in Hillsboro, OR. and took it to his RV repair business for restoration.
He said it's still a work in process.
They store it up on the sign board for his shop and take it down when they have time to work on it.
His plans are to use it, he said it runs and is fully sealed, they are working on the interior now

Why not? Same reason some people pull a Burro.

Not everyone can afford a Class A or a DP.

I remember passing by a VW dealer in San Juan Capistrano, just off the freeway, on a hill . .
The always had a couple on the lot back in the day.

I owned several beetles in the 70's, and they barely had enough power to keep up with traffic then. I imagine the weight and aerodynamics of a class C body would be too much for the little 40 HP motor.

Hi Tony.

I only have the original 25HP engine. It gets us around.
