Stuck In The Snow

We're stuck in Lusk, WY thanks to the snow. We had hoped to get south yesterday to escape the significant snow, but the storm hit earlier than expected. Looks like we'll be here for a few days...

Wise decision to stay put. Have a great relaxing time while waiting for the roads to be cleared and to dry off.

If it didn't hurt the MH, as a snow fan, I think I would love this for a day or so, especially with our electric fireplace. I might have to fire up that grill as well just to say I did. Stay warm.

That's why we are waiting till next month to head that way. Meanwhile we will just have to put up with the 80+ degrees here in Florida.

Wow! Winter is hanging in this year. The doggie doesn't seem to mind a bit.

We are just south of Sturgis at Rush-no-more campground in SD. 22 inches so far, supposed to quit in a little while. We like Lusk, very nice little town.

We too are just hanging out.

Talking

I foolishly thought I was done moving snow when we sold our house and all my snow removal equipment last August. This afternoon I was on the roof of the MH moving about a foot of heavy wet snow off the roof and slides.

We replaced the slide covers less than a month ago. I was afraid that the heavy snow would damage the new covers. Fortunately, no damage, at least as far as I can see.

Made it to the truck-stop in the toad, (good food), for a late breakfast. They gave my wife a nice rose for Mother's Day in addition to a great breakfast!

Wind has picked up now, but this is Wyoming. Much of this snow will probably melt tomorrow.
