My bounder came with the surge guard transfer switch and what they call ground fault protection. It also has an ems system that will shed loads. Does this mean I have a surge guard as well?

Mojo,

Since we have the same year and model, yours should be the same as mine.

Hey all. I replaced the 50' 14gauge extension cord with a 25' 12g and the voltage under load is 110v @ 9amps. Feeling a lot better. Still not perfect but it'll do. I might return the extension cord and just get a 30a extension cord for about the same cost. Only issue is the 30a extension cord is very limited in function and I could use the 15amp cord everywhere.

I should have my 50a service finished in a month.

I think on my Bounder I have a combo surge/transfer switch.

Mine is the second to last bay on the right side.

Correct, my transfer switch is in the same compartment. Just wondering if that box also housed the surge guard. In other words is it a combo unit both transfer switch and surge guard?

Mojo,
Yes it is a combined unit.

Car54,
Using app so can't see your full signature. Do you also have a 2014 35K?

I don't think the Surge Guard Transfer Switch was an option. So if we all have a '14 35K, then the transfer switch should be the same.

The option listed was ground fault protection. I have never seen one without it but then again they were all ordered by one dealer. Either he ordered them all that way or it could have been a forced option by fleetwood or just something fleetwood listed separately on the msrp/build sheet.
