Ours has a metal tang that you can lock the device with a chain or cable trough it and wrap around the pedestal. Never lock it anymore. Can be defeated pretty easily. Had a $500 bicycle stolen that was locked with a 3/8" cable and large padlock.....gone in 30 seconds is my guess.

FL420's pics show the metal tang.

Maybe, but they do tend to keep lazy thieves from going looking for a bolt cutter.
I've always wondered why if a lock is required to keep honest folks honest how can they really be considered honest.

That is the way I do mine too. It keeps the Surge Protector clean and dry also.
