Surge Protector lock?
I just bought a EMS-PT50X 50 how does everyone lock them up at a campsite?

Never locked and never had a problem. If I pulled into a place that looked like I would have an issue with theft I would pull right back out.

I installed it in the service bay ( spliced the plugs into the power cord )

I have been on the road fulltime for 6 years. Never had anything stolen, Surge Guard, chairs etc. I do lock up my $500 bicycle however.

I didn't know they made these, but Surge Guard has a lock that locks the coach plug to the Surge Guard plug. They're about $25 on Amazon.

You can just put a padlock on the pedestal cover. Most have a tab for this to prevent opening the cover and thus disconnecting the protecter

I bought a good bicycle cable lock. It won’t stop a determined thief, but it will keep an honest man honest.

I camped by a guy that lock his to his cord, I started laughing because you could unplug from box and camper and steal his whole cord and surge protector.

I did what Clifftall did. I mounted it in the bay and plugged into it there. This way you don’t have to carry it to the pedestal and have it hanging there.

I have been tempted to do that but realized myself or someone else may have to get to those 50amp breakers in a hurry if they happen to see smoke or sparks coming from the panel.
Also, in many government parks a lot of pedestals have been backed into and it would take time and tools to straighten and align the tabs with the holes.
Edit. Tried to post a pic of a damaged pedestal but apparently I'm not allowed to.
