But they are squarely tackling the Entegra challenge.
The key to their offerings appears to continue to embrace the full wall slide....something Ted Cook said that Entegra is experimenting with. I am still reading other threads on FWS issues, and it looks like Newmar is doing all it can to cut the weight on the FWS, suggesting that there are still concerns there to, but maybe that is just my imagination. One thing for sure, FWS opens a lot of new options while satisfying the "world's" need for a bath and a half.
For me, I love my DEQ floor plan. I'd like to see Entegra do a 45 foot DEQ with a single bath in the center using a residential shower.
Dave, I do hear you but I was surprised when I priced out a Dutch Star 4369 that was equipped the way we would want it and it was less than a corresponding Anthem. Now I realize that I'm only looking at a one year warranty, not two, and that I'm pricing a Freightliner, not a Spartan.
I'm sure Tadd is very much aware of the grumblings about a lack of floorplan options with the Entegra models. Perhaps they won't need to add more and will take the tact that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, but I would think that somewhere along the line they will start to feel the pinch. You know how solid I was in the Entegra corner but my leaning now is toward the Newmar for pure livability for our purposes. If Entegra pops up with some new floorplans then my thinking may change, but right now I'm leaning toward Newmar.
