Smile Taking off my Moderator Hat

After more than 14 years as a moderator on this site I've decided to hang up my Moderator Hat and become a Plain Old Member. Actually, my new title will be Moderator Emeritus, which along with $5 will get me a cup of coffee at Starbucks (or an imported beer at my local pub). The site has an active set of guys & gals on the staff who will easily carry on without me, and I have other interests to pursue.

One of my sidelines has been writing articles on various aspects of RVing, mostly technical subjects. I've contributed some of them freely over the years, here and elsewhere on the net, but over the past year this has become financially rewarding as well as fun. I recently had a piece on LED lighting published in Bus Conversion Magazine and have been paid to provide RV tech articles for DoItYourselfRV.com and RVForum.net as well. Few things beat a paycheck as sincere flattery!

I'll still be hanging around here and you will continue to see messages from me from time to time. And if you should see the RVRoamer SSID when connecting to wifi in a campground, take a look a for a gold and black American Tradition and stop by to say Hello.

Gary. Thanks for all you have contributed. I know I have been on the receiving end of some of your vast knowledge a time or three.

Wow 14 years....

You must have been a charter member when Bill (Warpath) started the site back in early 2000.

Gary, you have and will continue to be an asset to this great site One of our famous Actor/Presidents once said, "PROGRESS IS OUR MOST IMPORTANT PRODUCT". That has stuck with me since the 50's, when he was on GE Theatre, Ronald Reagan. You have reached that pinnacle Good luck to you in your future travels, and travel safe my friend.

14 tears of monitoring and moderating this site is quite an investment in time and my hat is off to you for doing so.

Gary, thanks for all you've done and for welcoming me when I first posted here. I won't say "Sorry to see you go," because I'm hoping you'll still be active in the forums.
