Tankless Water Heater

We just bought a 2016 Lifestyle LS37CKLS that came with the Atwood Tankless water heater and so far I think it sucks. The water pressure in the shower is so low that the hot water takes forever to come on or we get no hot water. How can I improve the shower pressure and what is the trick on this hot water heater to make it work? I have read several post about the water heater and I think there are mixed reviews. The 2 sinks so far have been working ok but you have to use a lot of water before the hot starts coming out. Help, can't stand taking cold showers.

Here's a previous post with some ideas.

Installing a recirculating pump back to fresh water tank with switches in multiple locations may be an option to at least be able to minimize wasted water.

Is their a flow adjustment in the shower head? Is there a flow restrictor in the shower head? Is the flow good with the shower head removed?

The flow is not great. I just went to Lowes and purchased a Oxygenics shower head and the hot water is coming out full bore but you could not take a shower with that unless you want to burn your skin off. As I turn the handle to add the cold that's when it get tricky. I have to be very careful not to turn the hot water down to much or else you have a blast of cold. There is alot of water waster with these things so if you are thinking of getting one DON'T.

doesnt the water heater have a thermostat?
on the girard heater, it has a digital thermostat that lets you set the hot water to whatever temp you want. that way you turn the water all the way to hot, and its stays there.
the flow shouldnt have anything to do with the heater, unless there is a restriction there. thats either the pump of the shower head. construction debris in filters, or lines can be the cause of poor flow.take the shower valve apart, and check for shavings. on a newer coach, thats always a problem.
if you dont have a variable speed pump, water flow will pulse. the
temp will fluctuate. getting it set to your preference should not be that hard. its a real learning curve from the old style heater, but i am happy with mine now. earlier, not so much. it just took too much adjusting to get it to work right.
the digital thermostat made a night and day difference.

We have a Presician Temp tankless water heater. Works well, we like it. Does not have an excessive time for hot water to appear. The temperature is adjustable at the shower and fauset mixers. Does not drop out.

We have had a bosch tankless at the sticks and bricks for ~12 years. Works well, and has made for really low gas bill.
