Terminology

Been reading the forums for some time now. Learning the "lingo" in use, but I am struggling with the abbreviation "DW" when referring to the wife.

Someone enlighten me?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

The abbreviation, DW is used by most members to mean “Dear Wife” and DH to mean “Dear Husband”.

Too funny! Got it. I thought the days of emoticons and corny abbreviations were over. I am going to have to go back to my AOL days (You've Got Mail!) and brush up.

Will try to stay away from the negative DH designation...

Thanks!
