Terminology

Ok. After all this... What is DW and DH? Da wife? Da husband? Lol I can't figure it out. And what does the acronym TOAD stand for? I gather it's the tow vehicle but not sure what it stands for.

D can stand for whatever you are feeling at the moment you write it... usually denotes dear as in dear hubby... but has been known sarcastically to denote darned ( or worse ) hubby.
Toad is a funny for towed vehicle. It isn't an acronym unless I can think up something appropriate. Oh wait... perhaps Towed On A Device. Your guess as good as mine.

I don't believe TOAD is an acronym; it's just the bastardization of "towed" vehicle. (Of course, I have been known to be wrong, haha)

I can be more wrong than you! I'd humbly suggest perhaps a glossary of commonly used abbreviations and acronyms used on here. Could include GCWR, GVWR, JMHO, EMS, ATS, and on and on. Toad I think is a corruption of towed, but after many miles of towing my auto, I think the term Toad describes what it looks like with all the spots of oil, road dirt and other 'warts' all over the front of it.

Here's a pretty comprehensive list of the most commonly used acronyms in most RV forums:

RV Abbreviations, Acronyms & Initialisms

That will cover most of them used on here or give you a fair idea of what is meant.

For a really comprehensive list of acronyms (as used in almost all data messages, IIRC ) there is this one:

3,001 Forum Acronyms and Forum Abbreviations

Thousands listed there in case you get one that isn't RV related.

I think that last one might be for all text abbreviations/acronyms, not necessarily the ones mostly used on the RV forum.

Just type DW or DH into the search bar here and you will find a lot of forum subjects on the question.

Like I said - I borrowed it from a thread here some time ago. Someone entered it somewhere. I cut and paste into note pad. Occasionally when some asks - I will copy and paste it again.

Now interesting note - Sarah caught that LEO had the Let's Eat Out entry last time - and submitted it should be Law Enforcement Officer. Those mods are great aren't they! Especially Sarah.

As for Viagra for the brain - it's all in your head anyway methinks. LOL
