My registration fee for the coming year has increased dramatically from approx $150 to almost $220. Is it just me or has this happened to other Texans? I have an '04 Itasca and am wondering if the age could affect the fee that much?

Thanks for providing the links. It doesn't hurt any less but at least now I understand the reason for the increase.

Consider the $220 not only good, but great price. My last unit, an '04 Tiffin was $56 With the VA exemption in Texas, but when I had to move back to Las Vegas, the same registration was $700 after the $600 VA exemption and I had three other vehicles to register at the same time. In another year I won't have to claim Nevada as primary residense and will more than likely "move" the RV back to Texas.
