I for one appreciate the protection. One more bad guy out of the gene pool.

Wow!

The guy must have really gone off his rocker to have threatened to kill a NP Ranger.

I know a friend who is a Ranger. He worked at Lake Powell for five years then they transfer you out. Stress! Hard to believe! But some of the stories! Most involve booze or drugs and craziness!

I know how everyone must feel that the Bad Guy finally got his deserved action, But after 30 years in Law Enforcement and being involved in shooting incidents I can tell you this, my sympathies along with me respect goes to the officers involved, they will be seconded guessed and as everyone knows it is not any easy thing emotionally to be forced to take another life, Say a prayer as I will that the Rangers will make it htrough this without any problems. Thank You all.

Sam, having spent 23 years in the military, your comment is heartfelt and poignant. Here is a link to todays follow up story. My prayers and support are with the Rangers. Happy Trails!!http://www.heraldandnews.com/article...ories/top2.txt
