Thanks for the add on. Looking forward to advise.

We just purchase a Mandalay 40' 2005 motorhome. And are finding some faults. Sure are hoping for some good advise to troubleshoot the issues we have come across. Private sale, I guess we should have been more aware. Where do I go in the site to ask about repair questions?
Thanks again, and I hope that soon we will be sailing along the hwy.

I see in your avatar Fleetwood owner, Thor owner and Freightliner owner so if you look at the top of the page there are owners forums, just pick the group that applies. Without knowing if your trouble is mechanical with the chassis and drivetrain or house and appliance issues it is hard to direct you further. No idea what coach you have but generally the folks with that brand of coach will know most about where to get it repaired.

Good luck and welcome.

You could post questions in the Thor (Mandalay) owner section, but I think that in general you are better off posting them in the Class A Motorhome forum. Relatively few problems will be unique to either Thor or Mandalay, so input from all other motorhome owners is likely to be more helpful than Thor owners only.

If you are sure the question deals exclusively with a chassis issue, try the Freightliner Chassis forum (your Mandalay has a Freightliner motorhome chassis underneath). However, the Class A forum is still an OK venue for those chassis-related questions as well.

My previous coach was a 2008 Mandalay, and while we owned it, we were members of a "Mandalay forum" that another owner started on Yahoo. Google Mandalay forum and see if you can find it -- this group of owners was very knowledgeable and helpful. Your 2005 would be one of the earliest Mandalays (I think they ran from about 2004-2010), and the early ones had a few known issues, especially with the two-piece windshield. In case you don't know, Mandalay was Thor's first entry into the "luxury diesel pusher" market, under their Four Winds division. They later merged the Mandalay line into their Damon division, and it more-or-less corresponds to today's Tuscany.

I appreciate that information. I have signed up for the Yahoo Mandalay forum. Thank you
