That's not camping...

I have heard this dozens of times after parking the MH near a tent camper. I have never claimed it was roughing it, we do it to get away and relax. Drives them nut's when the pizza get's delivered.

I tell people that it is roughing it. Some places don't have cable and internet!

Drove the rig to the house last week. Neighbor's friend said the exact same thing but his wife slapped him upside the head (playfully) and said, "It may not be YOUR idea of camping but it sure as hell is MINE...DEAR!" She then muttered something about he could enjoy more time fishing if she could camp like this. LOL

I agree. 'Real' campers should stay as far away from RV'ers as possible.

I believe this falls under the classification of "Glamping" , = Glamorous camping!

That is because we have showers and they don't?

I have friends that say that. So I ask them what type of camping do you do? Their answer - the Marriott.

Feel bad for people like that.

My wife used to tent camp, she much prefers the MH now.

My DW used to say that roughing it was "staying at a hotel that doesn't have a hot tub and indoor pool".

Her new definition is "when the site is too small to put out all the slides".
