Thumbs up The Best RV Forum, Hands Down!

I just wanted to say "Thank You" to the members of this forum. I’ve been on here for over ten years now, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. The first RV related forum I learned of years ago was RV.net. I quickly found many members there to be inhospitable and downright rude. Not all of course, but enough to make me look for an alternative. That’s when I discovered iRV2.

I still visit RV.net from time to time, but I do the majority of my postings right here. It’s called the "friendly" forum for a reason. In all the years I’ve been here, I’ve only had one member go out of their way to be rude & insultive. I sent her the web address for RV.net and told her she would probably be more at home there. A recent post I made there reconfirmed that it is the same, if not worse than it use to be.

Love this forum!

Craig

I haven't been around here as long as you, but I endorse your sentiments.

Did the RV.net thing for several years. I know what you mean. Glad I finally discovered this forum.

RV.net hasn't changed a bit and has been worse for the past few months.

They've got some pretty knowledgeable people on there and, of course, most of the people are nice but there's a couple of them that.....aren't happy campers.

So I totally agree with you.

I've learned a lot, and will probably never be able to give back as much as I've received. The contributions from members of this forum are priceless.

I totally agree. I check "the other forum" occasionally but I'm always turned off by the rude sniping and the overzealous moderators. I hurry back here as fast as I can click!!

I did not last long on the other forum. Was ready to give it up when a member of IRV2 suggested I give them a try. I have not gone back since then and do not plan to ever. I love it here and all the great people.

Agreed! Before I joined iRV2 I lurked on the other site and was put off by the some of the nasty posts, especially in the class A forum! Met some fellow iRV2'ers at a couple of rallies and they couldn't have been nicer people!

I think the worst aspect of RV.NET is the completely clueless and pathetic moderators.

I have never in my life seen the amount of deleted posts, edited posts, closed topics, and totally wiped out threads that occur at RV.NET on a daily basis.

I guess they are telling the RV.NET members that they are too stupid to think for themselves, so they will edit/modify/delete/ their posts for them.

On the other hand, the quality moderators on irv2 are intelligent enough to let their members be themselves. Thank You!
