Popular Science - August , 1950.

This was a review of an existing product. This was assembled by the Prigg boat works ..it became a large company and then vanished.. not a lot about then nor other pics..]]


I did find this though... marketed as the 1947 PACKARD PRIGG MOTORHOME.

This reminds me of a hitch I used back in the 50's. It was called a 'Glide Right' or perhaps 'Glyde Rite'. It was installed on an Olds Convertible pulling a 8' X 45' Mobilehome. The doors on the Olds would open & close without ANY problems. Wish I could find a hitch like that today. Any one have any ideas???

This isn't quite RV directed but it must have been an interesting product. I have used mechanical adding devices in the past but they have been big...
