By the way I was the planning board chair for Caledonia during the early 2000's
The snow/rain line was on the NY/PA border. The majority of snow was in a line north of Buffalo, right across Rochester, Syracuse to parts east.
Caledonia is about 10 mi south of Rochester, and we got about 15-20" of snow (I live west of Rochester, and we got the same). The wind caused a lot of drifting. In my back yard, measurable snow was over 2' at places.
I think the further south one goes, it was less snow, but this one was a whopper.
Currently we've been having lots of sun but cold. The snow is going away, but slooowwwwwllllllllyyyyyyyyy.
All roads are perfectly clear at this point.
I'm ready for spring.
p.s. Do you know Diane Fowler?
