Whoa! Glad we missed out on that. We were supposed to get blasted yesterday but it was just too warm the day before & the snow that came was so fine nothing stuck.

One week until Spring officially comes.....please hurry!

We got 17" yesterday. I'm about 50 miles east of Rochester between Rochester and Syracuse. Right now it's 44 degrees and everything is turning into soup.

We're over near Buffalo and at least south of the city we really didn't get much snow. Maybe six to eight inches, but nothing to get all excited about. They were predicting some really strong winds but we didn't really get the total white outs that the TV was warning us about. Right now it's 50 with bright sun. Gotta love Upstate NY weather.

Buffalo forecasters had given us down here in Jamestown NY a 4-8" prediction, we got MAYBE 2", and here I hooked up the plow and was all set for it. Rather have the nothing then the dump on I guess.

Nice to know the weather guessers are as accurate as they are here in Florida. Every thunder storm, 1,000 miles out into the Atlantic is deemed to become a Hurricane, and is covered in the news nightly. It is nice to be fore warned but running around yelling "the sky is falling" is over the top !

Low 50's here today. Went out and cleaned off the patio, sat in the lawn swing for a while. Snow's almost all gone now (probably still some piles in the mall parking lots). Now, if it will just stay away...

Yep, all they're doing is conditioning the populace to ignore warnings.

Have you heard how Allegany co is. We are planning on driving from NC to the pancake house near Shortrack (Cartwrights Maple Tree Inn) next weekend for our annual pancake pilgrimage
By the way I was the planning board chair for Caledonia during the early 2000's

Back in March of 1971 you had a big blizzard I Rochester NY. I was stranded in the Holiday Inn for 2 days. Weird thing is 2 days before getting to Rochester NY I was stranded for 3 days in Rochester MN.

Right now it is 9 degrees here in Orchard Park and I'd be willing to bet that it's a lot colder in Shortrack. Still snow on the ground and below freezing at night. It is supposed to start warming up next week, but be prepared that winter is not over yet here in WNY.
