There is only ONE type of LED handheld flashlight that I will ever buy. It has more power and high lumens output I have ever seen in a handheld plus it's lightweight too.

+2 except I have the Stinger(smaller head). Only downsides are expensive and battery capacity only allows 1-2 hours per charge which is not usually a problem as it is stored in the charger.

We have been using solar charging flashlight we bought at Costco. Sent our crank up to goodwill.

I am also a fan of the Maglite. Have several of the 3D, 2D and AA models. Couple of problems with them. Switch covers seem to disappear. I leave the flashlight setting on it's lens. Then remember that I left it on. It is still working after being on for 2 to 3 days. I get my Maglites at Lowes during there after Thanksgiving Sales. The 2 and 3 cell lights are $15.
