The "Tiny House"

I watch parts of the tiny house show, ocassionally and can't get past the fact that any travel trailer or motorhome is better designed, ands does everything better than those heavyweight sheds on a utility trailer.
Especially ridicules for those on the shows that want to move about every few months.
They are all the same, narrow rooms, with a loft bed. even an RV wet bath is better than the baths in the tiny house.
That said, the shed house would work for a weekend lake house, except deed restrictions on lakes often state minimum square footage to keep out the riffraff...
The real hoot of it is, they are often placed in mobile home, or RV parks

I think they serve a purpose for maybe a teenager with his own "Tiny House" in the backyard, but it's moronic when you see them build one for a family of four. Even funnier, is they provide them all this space, outside on some sort of deck, usually larger than the house. Great concept until it rains, snows, 100 degree heat or it gets dark!

I'm a licensed contractor for over 35 years and after looking at the construction materials they are using, I hope that have a really really big budget for tires. I would estimate that the houses they are showing weigh 20,000# and upward. Can't do that on a skinny frame and 4 tires!

I've loaded modulars and know what they weigh.

Always wondered what the weight was with all that heavy construction. I never understood how the trailer axels even held the weight.
