Newmar! You get what you pay for. I learned the hard way.

I believe my decision would be NEWMAR. No comparison.

Keeping this short....
We have not yet purchased an RV. Recently, my wife and I spent two days at the Hershey show making observations, comparisons, etc.
We know what our needs are but, unfortunately, have not found anything to meet our requirements.
The closest thing we found was the THOR Outlaw, but it was only available as a gasser and I want a diesel engine up in front of me.
I was not impressed with the craftsmanship of the Thor Outlaw for durability but again, you get what you pay for. There were many other manufacturers that put Thor to shame....in my opinion.....Newmar being one. Comparing Newmar to Thor is like comparing a porterhouse steak to a fastfood hamburger.
Very recently, Thor has started to produce the Outlaw as a Super C with the Ford F550 diesel front end which puts it closer to my requirements. But unless and until their quality improves I may continue to pass. But again, this is my sole opinion and your wants and needs in an RV may be entirely different so I wish you much success and enjoyment with whatever you select.

You have started multiple threads asking the same basic question and from previous posts and the survey, most responders favor the Newmar over the Thor, but since you continue to RESIST , I believe that you should follow your own research and pocket book. Only you can decide what you are looking for, so if I can recommend, start with a list of items which are important to you and than create a spread sheet comparison of the 2 models so that it gives a nice visual of features.
start with:
1. MSRP
2. standard equipment
3. option that you desire
4. H.P.
5. Torque
6. Towing capacity
7. are you happy with the layout?
8. coach warranty
9. engine size
10. Cummins make the same engine with 3 & 5 year warranty. the 5 cost more
11. keep adding items that are important you
12. can you visit each dealer for a side by side comparison?
13. Test drive, does it wander when a semi is passing you? This is not a good feeling on the busy inter state.
Best of luck

Yea, sorry about that. I'm just undecided at this time on what I want to get. The cost is important to me, but so is the quality. I just want to make the right decision and not waste my time or money.
I can get a 2014 Palazzo 33.2 with all the options for $144,000, that's a great price from what I can tell. The only problem is that I have to go out of state to get it. I'm still searching for a Newmar deal.

I would have thought that the Thor owners would jump into the discussion and give their feed back on ownership experience.
Resist join in on the conversation and tell us what comparisons you are finding on the 2 models.

Dogtales, have you considered a gently used to get the quality you want, yet closer to the price point you need? That is where I intend to go once I sell our bus conversion.
