Is Santa Monica in California. I thought it was the independent Communist Country of Santa Monica.

My stock Ford Excursion 4x2 is 7'1" tall. Guess I cannot even drive through town.

So, what happens when the 12 foot high delivery van from the print shop parks in front of the diner for lunch on his way to the police station to delver the blank ticket books?

I very much suspect this law will be challenged and will fail the challenge.

However.. That said.. It won't be a problem for me as I've no reason to visit there any time soon.

This thread is still alive???

We do know that the opening post is more or less bogus, right????
We all read the news story, RIGHT?????

Lived there my first 30 years... I earned the right, lol.
Thanks for the article- I figured something was amiss in the OP... No jurisdiction limits height nor weight in an ambiguous range (i.e., 7-8 feet)
Just like a CB radio, so go the forums, lol.

Everybody wants to give you their opinion.

Just my humble opinion.

My opinion is that before folks state their opinion of an Obviously Opinionated Threadstarter, they ought to look for a factual basis for the opinion biased factoids asserted by the Original Poster.
It's also my opinion that, as in this thread, the offering of facts contradictory to the opinions some wish to cling to will have no effect whatsoever on the opinions they choose to opine.

But that's just my opinion!
