Smile Tiffin phaeton 36 gh vs Winnebago 34t?

I am looking to buy my 1st motorhome. I have been looking at the Tiffin Phaeton 36 gh and the Winnebago 34T. I plan on spending several weeks/months at a time out in this & want the power of a DP. I have been looking for a long time and like the floor plans on these 2 units without going over 37'. Can anyone out there give me their input on these 2 models? The only other 2 brands I would consider are the Newmar & Fleetwood. I do not like the placement of the tvs in the fleetwood & I haven't researched the Newmar as much because I haven't found a floor plan that jumped out at me. Please share all opinions on these units- Thanks for any help!

I would go with the Phaeton, much better quality than the Winnebago.

We have a 2016 Phaeton 36GH and are very happy with it. Do be aware though that its not 36ft but is a shade over 38ft.

Tiffin phaeton 36 gh vs Winnebago 34t

My feeling is that the tiffin is better quality but the reviews show terrible customer service & lack of good quality control. Has anyone had issues with either?

Quality has been good. Only real problems we have had are Frieghtliner problems and not the coach. We bought a 2014 Red last year and then this 2016 Phaeton in Feb. we have ben using it to travel since then. Both have been good.

All the people that we know that have Phaetons seem to be happy with the service at the Red Bay factory. They not only take their coaches there for warranty work rather than a dealer, they go there to get thing fixed or redone that are not warranty.

Happy campers with our Tiffin Phaeton. The fit and finish is excellent, IMHO. This is our third coach first Tiffin.

The Phaeton is a very popular model there are a lot of them out there. There is a dedicated Tiffin user group that is excellent. Tiffin is known for their good service to owners. I have called a couple three times during buying process (bought used from previous owner) with questions and they were extremely knowledgable and helpful.
