Question Tilex type Mold and Mildew Spray Products

Is it ok to use Tilex brand or similar mold and mildew spray products to clean the shower? Will it do any harm to the plastic fittings or anything else in the gray water system?

Thanks,

We use a mixture of vinegar and water 50/50. takes care of the mold and mildew with no chanch of harming surface or fittings

No it won't hurt anything. We will use some bleach/water mixture for mold and mildew. Of course an occasional bleaching prevents it from even forming.

I do this on my sticks and bricks roof where the sun never hits it, every other year. No moss ever grows on it.

We were told by our plumber when we built our house (it had a fiberglass deep whirlpool tub) to always clean fiberglass with liquid dishWASHER (not washing) soap. When we sold it 5 years later, it was absolutely perfect. Don't put it on full strength, dilute it with some water in a spray bottle. Wipe with a soft cloth and rinse well. It works perfectly I also used this on my porcelain tile shower and tubs.
