Tire conditioner
I know I shouldn't use any petroleum based conditioner or cleaner on MH tires, but what about 303 Aerospace? It says has no petroleum and protects from ultraviolet rays. I use it on my kayaks and they have not faded a bit in several years of use.
I keep my motor home stored on the jacks to minimize stress on tires, and I keep the tires covered in storage too, just wonder if the use of 303 would help.
Trying to get the most out of my tires, coming up on 5 years, no sign of cracking, and would like to squeak out another year or 2.

I'm a believer in 303 and use it on everything, tires, decals, slide seals, ac shrouds, vinyl trim, etc. I used it on my boats for years. It's good stuff. Three years in the Florida sun on my tonneau cover and it still looks like the day I bought it.

You should change tires every 6 years anyway do to deterioration of the rubber. Or maybe I just watch too many car shows.

Yeah that I know, just wondering if the uses of 303 would help protect them and not do any damage in the process.

I use 303 on the tires, but solely for cosmetic reasons. It keeps them looking decent while parked in the campground, though not as jet black as some tire shine products.
I personally do not believe my motorhome tires need any extra protection to last the 7 or maybe 8 years I am willing to trust them to carry me down the road.

Yes I too think I can trust them for 7-8 years, many say after 5 should change, I think that is overkill, some of the manufacturers say 10 years. I definitely will not go more than 8.
Yes to prior poster to, I have those covers and use whenever coach will sit for more than 2 or 3 days. Disappointed though at how poorly they are made. Grommets pressed in so hard that vinyl is cut and grommets pulled loose on first use.

The ones we have do not have the grommets.
In the 9 years (approximate) we have had them only one has been blown off by the wind.

I am using 303 and happy with results so far. Before using 303 I refused to use anything on the tires due to a bad experience years ago with Armour All. On a show truck I have, I used Armour All on the tires from new. These 11.00-22.5 tubeless tires still had titts on the tread face like new but the side walls had cracks so large that they would leak air through the sidewall.
The tires rotted right out.

Michelin used to say to use 303 on their tires, then they brought out their own product called "Tire Shine". To some of us it looks like 303 with a different label. It is no longer available the last I checked.
Now they say just to wash with soap, water and a brush.

I use 303 on the MH tires. Went to an RV show a couple of years ago and the tires really looked good. I asked the sales guy what they put on them...brake fluid!

I have had tires to 8 years and had present tires 10 years off and inspected and just replaced same 10 year steer tires and the insides were like new no brake down of interior material or no side wall damage.
Dress with 303 and tires always stored off ground on plywood sheets.
