Question Tire Covers

Has anyone tried the tire covers that are made out of canvas instead of vinyl and have a wire sewn into the back to hold them on the tire?

Thanks,
jonelsr

I have a set that I use on my motorcycle trailer sitting in my driveway. I am on my second season with them. They seem to be holding up well, and stay on well during high winds. Got them on ebay.

Smile Canvas Tire covers

Yes, I currently use those type of covers & they are working well, purchased from Harbor Freight. I'm going on two seasons of use now.
Depending on your wheel size, Harbor freight has them for about $10 - set of four.
In addition to the covers you may want to purchase a product like "Ray Bloc" It is a UV blocking fabric spray.

tire covers

I have a set I bought from camping world 8 or 10 years ago they are vinyl and they work well and have held up well. UV is your tires enemy and excessive heat I tested without covers in direct sun light tires were 156 degs. and with covers 94 degs. heat ages your tries very fast. Mine are ageing out but they still look good 6 years on front and 8 years on back so I'm looking for tires now. Keep them shining
