Tire/tire pressure forum

There are so many threads regarding choosing new tires, TPMS, protecting tires during storage, tire pressure, etc. it seems it would warrant its own forum. Right now on just the Class A Motorhome Discussion forum there are 4 posts regarding these issues. And another 4 between the TT and 5er forums. This forum would apply to all types of RV's. I would think this would be a popular forum. Just a thought.

Interesting perspective but then wouldn't folks want a refrigerator forum and a water heater forum and a tv antenna forum...? Those components are actually more common across RV types than tires are, since trailer tires have substantially different parameters than large motorhome tires.

Gary you forgot ; we already have a forum for RV Systems and appliances.
CJ7ole,
Everything that can be said concerning RV tires of any brand, type, size, construction type, and tread design, may be found using the search feature of irv2.com. Then you don't have to visit all those threads you list, the search results display all of them containing search terms information. The only reason new threads appear is when a member who is unaware of the search feature asks a question. Wish I had a dollar for every time I've use search.

I knew somebody would bring that up! But we also have forums for the chassis brands, and tires go on a chassis, right? There are a zillion ways we could slice and dice RV components and topics, and we can't do all of them. Some people want everything to be organized by their brand of rig, others want trailers versus motorhomes, or chassis vs body, or by system and component. The Search function is intended to cut across these artificial categories and it works reasonably well.

By the way, I wasn't making an official IRV2 response here. Just offering my own personal perspective.
