The kind you flush with a good amount of water.

Over a number of decades of RVing I've learned that using plenty of water in the flush is generally more important that what you are flushing down it.

There can be exceptions and my two Winnebago Journeys fell into that category. Both had quite shallow black holding tanks and "regular" toilet paper just seemed to pile up right under the toilet no matter how much water I used. On both of those I switched to a 2-ply RV toilet paper and the "pile up" problem was solved since that seemed to break down more quickly.

You'll have to see what works in yours, but generally if it's a Septic Safe toilet paper, and you like it, then it's probably OK to use.

If you look at the search engine here you will find thousands of post on TP.

Basically septic safe TP is fine. Many use Scott 1000. DO NOT need to buy RV toilet paper. Biggest thing to remember is flush with LOTS of water.

Top choices are Costco, Sam's and Angel Soft.
Worst choices are John Wayne, Star Trek and Hospital brands.

Use whatever TP you use at home

Nothing special needed.

I use big fluffy 2 ply and a wad of it.
Haven't plugged up an RV toilet or dump line in 40 yrs.

I also just use what I like. I've used Charmin Ultra Strong, and I've used RV specific fall-apart TP. Never had a problem with anything as long as I use enough water when flushing. That's the key. Just keep it wet down there and you won't have any problems. Too many solids is bad.

We've been using Costco Kirkland brand. It has never plugged any of our lines and it is cheap. But any household paper will work fine. Don't waste your money on the"RV" paper.

As long as it doesn't allow the dreaded finger poke, it works for me.

Richard thank you for the video I just watched it and will be using the Great Value. The Angel Soft did not do well on that test.

We've been using Georgia Pacific Preference. You can get it from Amazon or a hotel supply company. Hotels use it because it breaks down easily and quickly. Our sewer system at home suffers from tree root problems so something that deteriorates quickly is preferred. Works great in the motorhome too. The last time I dumped the tank I didn't even see any paper. (We have one of those transparent elbows so I can see when the tank is flushed clean)
