Anyone had experience with Toyo 245/75R 22.5 tires?

I was talking to a truck driver the other day, and his trailer had Toyos on it. He said he'd never buy them again. Said they don't last very long.

I purchased my MH with 22.5 Toyo"s, put 10K on them in the past year! No issues, they ride great and perform as expected on wet roads. Would purchase the same if needed...

After a bunch of research, I have a set of Toyo's up front on mine. Very good reputation. Re: tread wear, that's about the last thing most MH owners are going to complain about....

I dabble in coaches and I have bought new tires for the 5 coaches I've owned in the last 5 years.
I'm a big advocate of buying a proven tire without paying through the nose for name. I don't believe in buying a Ferrari when a Cadillac will do.
I have put Toyo M154 -16 ply 22.5 - All Position tires on several coaches with great success in steering, handling and ride. In my research on tire issues, I couldn't find any that had as few negatives as the Toyo's. Price averaged around $3200 installed out the door.
As an aside, on my most recent coach, I couldn't get Toyos anywhere close enough to where I bought the coach and opted for the Hancook AH12's. These were also a 16 ply 22.5 All Position tire. They have performed well with no issues in the several 1000 miles I have put on them. They handle and ride well. Cost for these installed out the door was $2600.
I would, without reservation, put either of these on my coaches again.

I have the 265-75-22.5 Toyo's on my RV for the past 2 1/2 years. Very happy with them and not a single crack, unlike the Michelin's I took off. Had mine done at Les Schwab in Oregon, $2700 out the door. Be sure and ask for credit for your old tires, they sell them for up to $125 apiece.

Just make sure the Toyo tires will handle the weight you have. I was all set to purchase Toyo tires but in my size and load range (H) they show they support 800 pounds less than my badyears. I have weighed my coach and could not in good conscience install a tire where I would be at max weight or over.

I put Toyo's on last season, all six put 6000 miles on them last year no problems. Good tires at a good price.

Just put some Toyo M154 up front today. All I've read, it's a great all around tire... old ones were the same, only problem was they were 8yrs old and still in great shape...

After 3 sets of Michelin fronts rivering I put Toyo M154's on the front. Good tire/ride and when the rears need replacing I'll put Toyo's on.

Toyo M144
My neighbor, who is in the trucking industry put the new Toyo M144 tires on his Country Coach. Last year I needed to replace the rears on mine, so I put on four and will put on the front this year. They come in larger sizes:

Thank you all for the info. I will order 6 Tojo's for my 2010 Allegro Open Road (32 ft) tomorrow. Tire company tells me that the ones comparable to my present Michelins (235/80R22.5) are Toyo 245/75/R22.5.
