Trace Legend Series I Model L1512 Inverter not working

Hello all
I have a Trace Legend Series I Model L1512 inverter and the inverter side is not working
Everything works as it should when plugged into shore power or running the generator as far as power and charging the batteries
But when I go to just use the inverter there is a loud buzzing from the inverter box and nothing works
Anyone had this problem or have any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any responses

JMHO: Sounds like the inverter's internal transfer switch has failed .

I've seen posts here in the forums , about replacing the transfer switch in Xantrax inverters , but not on the Trace.

I don't necessarily conclude that the transfer switch has failed. It could have transferred OK but the inverting circuitry simply isn't inverting. It is a totally different function than pass-thru or charging, so could be failing while the others still work. I'll grant, though, that a "buzz" sounds more mechanical than electronic, so the switch failure is a possibility.

Xantrex doesn't provide support or parts for the old Trace products, which they class as "discontinued". You may be out of luck.
