Trailer LP gas system

Has anyone tried this, adding a remote 15 foot 3/8" flex line to there main propane supply line located under the camper so as to supply a remote 2 burner camp stove.( camper has no outside kitchen) If so were there any pressure supply problems and any do or do not's with trying this.

thanks,

Shouldn't be an issue, just use a stove meant for input pressure of 11" H2O or so.

thanks,
jesivales is correct about the downstream pressure being very low. Our trailer has a tap built in for this low pressure. Our grill (Nexgrill) has an external removable regulator that can be used with a 1 pound propane bottle. When connecting to the trailer I do not use the external regulator, if I did use it there would not be enough pressure for the grill.
The best way for you to connect to a grill would be to put a "T" in the low pressure line and use a quick disconnect. You could then use an extension hose as I have done. Here are some photos.

There is no problem with that and there are even Tees made for the purpose. The only consideration is whether you need high (tank) pressure or low (regulated) pressure. I f you tap the gas line before the RV's own regulator, you get tank pressure and any device on that line needs its own regulator. If you tap after the RV's regulator, that you get low pressure (11 WC inches or about 0.5 psi) and any device hooked to it must NOT have its own regulator (it won't work if it does).
