Here is a link to the Surge Guard website page with your transfer switch info, including the trouble shooting guide.

Discontinued Surge Guard RVC Compatible ATS with Full RV Power Protection | Technology Research, LLC

If you are comfortable with checking the internal wire lugs on the transfer switch I would check there the torque on each lug. The one that they have in common is the ground, check it.

I reviewed the trouble shooting guide and it does say there are fuses so you may check to see if there is a blown fuse.

The first question is whether the Surge Guard thinks something is wrong or not and has intentionally turned power off. The 40250 has several built-in tests for proper voltage and wiring and it won't transfer power unless all tests are passed. If that's the reason for no power, it may still be defective, though. I had one several years ago that thought there was "no ground", even though there really was one. Turned out to be a bad circuit board in the 40250. The fact that it faults on both shore and genset power suggests this may be the case. However, you could have a wiring issue between the 40250 and the control center too, e.g. a loose wire.

Is there power leaving the surge guard? You can get one of those voltage sensing pens cheap to check.

Try flipping the two inverter breakers inside the coach.

Also might try resetting the inverter. (15 minute neg battery disconnect from the inverter.).

That is if power is leaving the surge guard. ... If not, I would think your issue is there's or before.

Transfer switch

Jac,
I read that. Thanks

There is no fuse.

Trs80,

There is no power getting through the generator side or shore power side.

Is there a reset switch?

The inverter is working.

Thanks.

So,
I talked to the manufacturer and it needs to be replaced.
This model obsolete.
What should I replace it with?

Replace with a Progressive 50a unit, either portable or built in. Lifetime warranty; great reputation.

The Progressive unit mentioned is not a transfer switch. You can go to the 40350 which costs around $600 or go with another 40250 like you have. If you change to the Progressive Dynamics switch it may require a change in settings and wiring. I went with the same 40250 unit because of price. I can buy 3 of it for one of the bigger nicer ones. Since I already have the Progressive Industries EMS it made financial sense.

Excuse me! It's the 41260 that I went with, not the 40250.

Thank you all for the replies.
We are on a hunting trip in North Dakota and there is no help near us.
My buddy figured out a temporary fix and we have shore power now.

Does anyone know of a source for the circuit board in the unit?

Buy a manual switch over from Home Depot. About $120.
